It's official, Teresa Burke Elementary meets all State and Federal testing targets. On August 31st the 2011 CST growth and Federal annual yearly progress results were released to the public. Teresa Burke made 34 points of growth and met all 17 Federal targets. The school's API is now 745 and finds itself in Federal Safe Harbor. By meeting all Federal targets this testing year, Teresa Burke will exit Program Improvement status.
Burke's testing results were among the top in the Wasco Union Elementary District. The 34 point API gain was second highest in the district and Burke was the only school in Wasco to make all Federal targets.
